this detailed record of my special day is dedicated to my family n frds (n my hub too!) who share our joy for the occassion..esp for those who wasnt there (sorry for not being able to invite every one as it was very rush n we wanted to keep the event as cosy as possible) or wanted to know what exactly happened or hw i looked on that day etc etc...

My dreamy wedding:
since young, I have always been tinking abt hw my wedding wud be n i tot - since i love the sea so much, i shall hold it in a yacht or cruise in the evening or nite under the glittering stars...My actual wedding:
well, in real life, things arent always what u wan it to be..but we do our best to make sure its as close to our dream as possible.. ;)logistically, my dreamy kind of wedding will be very tough as i foresee pple will be late in boarding the cruise n sm might hav seasick etc etc...so, my hub n i planned one that is most practical n closest to wat we wan as far as our time limitation is concerned..we only had a month to source, plan n coordinate wedding shots, customised rings, venue, invitation cards, appreciation gifts for our family n guests etc etc..n ta, ta, ta!!! The day went well as we planned...we had my tradditional tea ceremony in the morning (as i dont want to miss the once-in-a-lifetime or 'official' chance for me to tekan my hub)...followed by a brief session of outdoor photoshoot @ Botanics Garden n finally, our ROM cum reception @ Ritz Carlton poolside...as much as i wish that i dont hold it typically in a hotel, the outdoor seting of Ritz poolside was beautiful n the service fm them was considered one of the best we got...a few of my criterias for the day we 'seal our love' are:
- no typical 10 course sit down table kinda dinner - meaning no putting up of 'show' like pouring champagne or cutting of cake or yum seng, which seems totally meaningless to me..the only compromise i did was the marching out to our ROM table...as my 2 lil cousins wanted so much to be my flower girls n i tot, why not..jsut for the fun of it!
- must be as relaxed n free & easy as possible so that everyone can feel at ease..n enjoy the occasion as much as we do.
- everything to be done in a day so that we can relax after that..heh..
- n of cos, it must feel special & unique to us!

Finally, the day we spent a month rushing for is here!
feeling a lil nervous, i woke up at 5am in the morning to wait for Stacey, my make up artist to arrive..din reallie had my beauty sleep the nite b4 as we had to pick our Japanese and German frds from the airport at diff timing in the middle of the nite, to the hotel..as they flew specially to attend our wedding, we wanted to make sure they are well taken care of during their trip here...i also have another frd from thailand whom i m fortunate enough to have my brother taking care of her..as i prepare n wait for my hub to pick me, i managed to steal a few shots with my 'sisters' n beloved ah ma!
the theme of our wedding was more towards the european side as we had our wedding shots in paris, did up a french postcard with chocs fm paris etc etc..n so, we tot why not book a white london cab to tie in with them entire theme...abit lame...but well, its more for the practical reasons actually..as london cabs are bigger and able to put all our barang barang in to transport ard...
I must really thank all my 'sisters' for presenting such a fun and exciting tekan session for my hub n his 'brothers'...it was sthg very diff n meaningful! KL was more of the main 'mastermind' behind the tricks but the rest played a great role in executing the plan..hiak hiak hiak *evil grin*My hub arrived ard 8am to 'pick' me up..n of course, he came with his gang to try to 'break' the door to get me...they had some real hard time doing so as my sisters put up a very strong 'front'!
They first asked for a 'small' welcome gift..n were busy counting the value before they decide if it was enuff to start the series of tests he had to go throu...
Test 1 : Love is when u r willing to go though sweet, sour, spicy and bitter with me!
- Bittergourd slice with honey, wasabi and sour plum as topping!
Test 2 : Love is when i am old and ugly, u will still love me as ever!
- Get another guy to put on lipstick, eye liner and blusher. Ask the groom to kiss him!
Peter was the unfortunte one as he had to put on lipstick n kiss my hub! haha...
Test 3: Love is when u r able to understand the misery of women!
- Tie two oranges around the chest and a pillow at the tummy, run along thecorridor.
Test 4 : Love is when i woke up, u will whisper "sweet words" to me!
- A toothbrush with toothpaste n honey coated! 
Test 5 : Love is when i m feeling down, u will raise me up!
- Practise carrying your wife. Ask the groom to choose a guy, carry him andwalk along the corridor!
okie..my hub was smart..he saw my young cousin n chose him to carry instead...hmm..
Test 6 : Love is when u r willing to do anything for me!
- Please sign the love agreement...Heehee
n yes, hand me all yr $$ ! wahahaa...
Followed by more rounds of 'cash' collection fm my sisters b4 my hub is finally allowed into the hse...
BUT wait! dun be happy too early...There is still one last test to go thru...i.e.
Test 7 : Love is when i m feeling sad, u r able to make me happy!
- Sing a song/ pole dance for chooli...
this reallie stressed my hub as he felt very shy to sing in front of so many pple ...frankly, he can sing quite well...jsut that he din reveal it on that day!
n if u r wondering where i was on that day...yes! i was happily hiding in the room...hearing n witnessing wat my hub had to go thru while i wait relaxingly in my room...heh...
my hub finally got into the room when he sang 'cant help falling in love with u'..u can see hw relieved he looked when he came in the room with my wrist bouquet..
he uncover my veil n i rewarded him with a kiss! my job is simple, isnt it? ;P

Time for tea ceremony...we were quite blur as we are not very familiar with the customs...but well, we still managed to scrape thru..hehe...

After the tea ceremony, we decided to pop by Botanics Garden for a short outdoor shoot...this is one of my fav pix...n it was suggested by the videographer who is a potographer by profession as well....he is a very professional n nice guy...anyone need his contact can get fm me!

It was real hot outside n thus, we cut short the shoot and went straight to the hotel...n yes, we din miss taking sm fun pix in the Ritz Carlton suite!

okie, i may look silly to insist on taking pix in the suite's jacuzzi but hey, hw often do we get a chance to use a spore river's view jacuzzi..unfortunately, i din get the chance to try it as we were too tired on the wedding nite n too busy packing the next day...tsk...wasted *shake head*
Look @ the view fm my suite..we oso managed to take sm pix in the jacuzzi..apparently, it was the most natural n loving pix we took for the entire day...cos we were real tired n din try too hard to pose..natural is beauty!
Ritz Carlton service was very good..they sent food regularly to us n even a bouquet of flowers, which i forgot to bring down to the ceremony! haa...

We rested for awhile, brght everyone for lunch at marina sq b4 preparing for our ROM cum reception in the evening..

the reception counter were well taken care of by my good n pretty pals...SH & KL were ushers, SY was the main coordinator for the event, Malu to help with ang paos, C to help with signing of our special 'guestbook' (that looks like a passport) n finally G for handling our unique thank you gifts (that has our paris wedding shots in the form of a french postcard with chocs fm paris of cos)!
Look at the spread specially chosen by us, particularly me..as i love sweets....too bad, i din get to try most of them...sob...

n yes, my 'god-bro' n his wife who flew fm vietnam (nope, they r sporean & shanghainese living n wking in vietnam) n managed to squeeze out sm time to pop by my event b4 rushing to his real sister's wedding..
my family....
my uni ECA good pals n their gfs...thou mite not be in close touch now...we went thru a period of very memorable 'good' times upon graduation..they were really good to me..n will always remain in my heart...
sm frds cm & go..but for sure, these pretty babes are my bestest pals throughout my life from WH & LM & SH fm sec sch, KL & XL & G fm JC..they played an impt part in my life n i reallie appreciate them alot...
my sph ex-colleagues...missing ones are my boss who had to take care of her kids, HH who had to celebrate his father-in-law bdae n Ant, whom was away fm spore (?)...they made my 2 yrs in sph cool & fun, at least! haa...
not forgetting CDC, my first n most fulfilling job...n yes, the best colleagues or i shud say frds u can ever ask for...everyone is sooooo nice with a caring heart...nvr fail to give u a push wenever u need it...missing ones are my boss n BH...apparently both mistook it for next sun! haha...
n a new member to the sotong gang - ling yi, literally baby 01...he's sooo adorable!
n this is my shun you..always tempting me with sweets n desserts to make me grow fat!! hmm...i will nvr fall for yr tricks k!

We were so happie wen the event ended...as we cant wait to rest! The service of the hotel is reallie good...look at our spread of breakfast-in-room set up specially for us...they really pamper n made us felt like king & queen...okie, only for 2D1N..but thats quite enuff...for us to appreciate the 'finer' things in life! kekeke...
nw that the ceremony is over n we hav officially sealed our love, its time to move on to our next stage of life...together...
n to make tis possible, we need to bind our heart together n work hand-in-hand...may we be as happie forever n ever n ever... ; )
